>>7229268I loved those figures a lot but I'm pretty much replacing them with the MPs now. It was really cool to get such a bone thrown to Beast Wars fans back then, though. I miss when the fandom was more chill about Beast Wars before all the boomers came back after 2007. Even so-called "GeeWunners" who didn't like it didn't feel the need to shit on it constantly or get pissy about it getting any love.
Anyway, I actually prefer the 96 toy releases. 96 Primal's head is one of the coolest Optimus heads ever, and I actually do like Megatron's dorky bathelmet. BWR's Optimus facesculpt iss till cool, though. wasn't fond of the Megatron head a bit too soft. The best thing about that set is the CD, though; plenty of badass concept art. Plus a cute junglegirl in the concept art of a modern-day Beast Wars
