IMO a big mistake with the Destiny line is that there were no proper battle packs so it would be easier to assemble armies of every enemy faction in the games. I see the CoD and Halo lines got plenty of that in comparison.
I don't think the pricing was that big of an issue, but then again I come from Lego, so I may be not too sensitive of the license tax in other toys after years of being a battered wife with that brand.
Hopefully now that Bungie broke off with them, there might be some interest in renewing their deal with Mega, but I'm not placing my hopes on that. I'd rather try to get as much stuff as I can now that most stores are clearancing the sets.
Which by the way, the Cabal gunship I ordered from Amazon arrived today. it's a pretty solid build, I hope the local walmarts get stock of this one too. If that was the case maybe they could get clearanced as quickly as the Ghaul set.
