If they wanted to compete with IT, they would probably have to price it around 150-200 to have a decent profit margin (again considering the new costs incurred in manufacturing/disruptions), which is actually what most IT dolls sell for directly from IT/ some licensed sellers, but stock runs out quickly, and the price becomes heavily inflated by eBay. On top of that, IT has higher quality clothing/accessories than Mattel.
