Here's a new series I want to talk about, the brand is called Maruttoys. The designer (@MARUTTOYS_MIZ on Twitter) was is pretty young and was directly inspired by the guy who designed the Mechatro WeGo. He's been selling 3D-printed garage kits of various designs, but he recently partnered with Kotobukiya to mass produce them as model kits.
Apparently the design of Tamotu has changed a lot despite looking mostly identical to the garage kit. They added more leg articulation and a bunch of 3mm hard points, but also the body panels are now completely removable.
Preorders just went up on the typical Japanese sites.
