https://akashingou.wordpress.com/2011/11/06/review-nendoroid-amano-toko/>Where do you guys hunt for sales?Mandarake is the main go-to, it's an Aftermarket Storefront that people sell their figs and other items to. Prices will vary since some items are either rare or popular enough to get into pretty crazy prices if you didn't preorder at the start. Yahoo Action Japan is another popular choice if you're willing to go against other people in an auction style setting like EBay. Mostly preferred on my end for event exclusives and extra rare pieces that Mandarake doesn't cover or is way above my budget. AmiAmi's Preowned is pretty decent to sometimes great if you get lucky
>But like I said, it couldn't be a huge deal (design-wise, or for the price point) to add some extra faces to every character? I'm just wondering what the logic is.I can't say unless I'm within those meeting rooms or idea spaces. My guess always comes down to cost per faceplate and number being produced, how well a certain face will convince a customer to order, and ability. For all we know, they figured they don't need to go beyond a certain point and found a healthy quota to meet and price accordingly. Or the simple fact they are just greedy. At the end of the day, it's ultimately their final decision.
