The Irwin releases were a fairly important part of my childhood. Before that Bandai America did a small run of them when the series was in syndication around 97/98, which seems hard to find info about, but they were in Bandai toy catalogs around PR In Space/Turbo.
Also have a fondness for the AB toys molds Irwin added in their US line. They had a larger selection than Bandai did(adding characters like Bardock, and looks they didn't do from the Buu saga.) Some figures were arguably nicer done than SBC, like this SS3 Goku. While they are dated figures,I d think they're more charming than Irwin's original attempts, and later Jakks.
Shame there's very little detailed info online about the early Dragon ball merchandise.
