If Cooler had been revealed at that same event it would have been obviously linked but now there's been 12 protos/figures shown before Cooler. We also have no idea when the Cooler proto was finished. Lunch has been waiting in line for months already before going up for order, it'll literally be a year since she was revealed by the time she comes out.
Lastly you're banking on the fact that this guy is familiar with Gotenks particular line in Budokai Tenkaichi, which is possible, but it's not a line Gotenks ever uses anywhere else or something he's particularly well known for.
