Different anon mind, but toy collection is something where if your not willing to go out of your price range for something you really want you're going to be in a state of unsatisfactory goods.
Splurging 40-50$ on a MAFEX Boba should be a no brainier in comparison to settling for a bootleg or paying scalper prices for the black series figure. I can understand for something like 3PO where the QC was garbage or the figuarts since only the Jedi are consistently good but the MAFEX in either version is the definitive Boba for 1/12th scale. It's a one and done figure, or two and done if you need both ESB and ROTJ.
But that's only in Boba's case. For something like a stormtrooper I can totally see why someone would go for the black series over any import so long as the figure itself is good.
