Mega bloks figures are more more engaging and fun toys but are no less brick compatible for it. Minifigs just look goofy, especially when in contrast, putting Mega bloks figures in a build gives it a scale miniature flavor. The only time I break minifigs out is for Mega Bloks vs Lego scenarios which has ended up in tons of concentration camps ever since i got some Nazi bros.
