>>9274707Also, he comes with a comic (not pictured) that I only just managed to flip through. Looks like this is an alternate universe version of the alternate universe from the original Shattered Glass? It seems to be a timeline where Cliffjumper didn't show up and start sharing hsi knowledge of upcoming battles with the Decepticons - in the original, Cliff showed up in the timelien at a point just slighlty before the SG universe's version of the events of G1 S1E1, and we see several key battles occuring from the new Decepticon perspective as time goes on, culminating in a fight between Negative Universe Primus and Gaea (His long lost sister, actually Earth) that ends with the Decepticons winning the war.
Things appear to be quite different in the new comic's continuity - first off, it's explicitly stated that 'that business on Earth' was already wrapped up long ago, the war is already over, and the Decepticons lost, meaning this is some time after what would be the equvalent of G1's final season (and there's no mention of a universe-hopping Cliffjumper, which you'd think there would be if he had appeared on this timeline). Bumblebee has already been upgraded to Goldbug (and has become this universe's equivalent of Straxus, now lording over 'Gold City' in a seeming rivalry with Optimus Prime and Prowl), but Megatron has NOT become Galvatron, meaning he wasn't assassinated by Cyclonus on this timeline. Starscream and Megatron seem to be literally the last two Decepticons alive at this point (which explains why they're the only ones getting toys), and Starscream seems to have been separated from Megatron and is looking for him. Blurr talks too much and gets what he deserves for having the attention span of a gnat in the end. I'm actually pretty curious about where they're going with this seemingly 'failed' timeline - how is the story going to progress if there's on;y two Decepticons left, period?
Pic unrelated - Rapticon and Wreck-Gar make for a great unlikely duo.
