OP here, I'm gonna try and clear up a couple questions that people have (though they may be trolls so I'm not gonna bother answering them specifically).
First my comments on fragility and people's answers - I fully admit that I have limited experience with SHF figures and so I was concerned that they MAY be fragile, I never definitively stated that I thought they were, or that the toys were not good quality. Specifically I was more worried about joints quickly becoming loose or possible QC issues that other lines like S.H.Monsterarts often have. As several other anons have vouched for their durability I'm happy to say that I am now convinced that fragility is not an issue and will feel more comfortable if I decide to purchase any in future.
The cost - I live in Australia, even buying off sites like HLJ I'm loking at between 45 to 90 bucks, and then there's import tax and shipping on top of that. If I go to a store in the country selling them, I'm looking at 150 up to 250 dollars each because the nearest stores are assholes who like to price gouge. If someone knows somewhere reliable and cheaper, then please let me know.
But the main thing is I also wanted to make this thread somewhere to discuss Dragon Ball figures OTHER than SHF, I understand that there is discussion about Figure-rise and Dragon Stars in the general, but the focus is still SHF. Besides if Lego and Transformers can have multiple threads going at once, why not Dragon Ball? So I thought it might be nice to have a thread focused on everything else, whether it be Dragon Stars or Vinyl or old Irwin stuff or even Gashapon. So to that end, here are a couple Gachas I picked up early this year that I think are pretty rad. So can we just have a fun thread?
