I know this isn’t really the correct place to ask but i figure since you guys do faceups and stuff you might be able to help me.
So I got this porcelain ducklings statue at an antique store today, and I really love the mold of it, but I can tell that someone has tried to repaint but it doesn’t really look too good to me and the paint has started chipping off. I’d like to strip the paint away (I’ve seen alcohol is suggested for doing this) and then repaint the figure myself. I’d like to paint it with a very soft and delicate look, kind of how faceups on BJDs sometimes are. Are porcelain BJDs a thing? I imagine they would be because BJDs remind me so much of porcelain dolls. What kind of paints would you use on this to give it a soft and bright look?
Again, apologies because I know this isn’t really the correct thread.
