>>10210120You should aim for counterbalance in your design to begin with. The base doesn't need to be cut at a perfectly perpendicular angle to the wrist, ya know? So long as you plan for supports for the Doom Zone itself (which I would highly recommend anyway, to make them more stable), angling them upwards a little should work fine and be ideal for display. Pic is an extreme example, but you get what I mean.
