It's the shoulders. Siege has his arms on downward hinges that aren't straight aligned with his chest. This gives him a more natural looking slope. ER has no such parts, so he has a bigger boxier chest that has no natural slope, and thus makes him look too wide. Same problem with Gigawatt's cardboard chest.
