>>5325598The plate actually extends past the technic plate by a few studs, so I made this as a filler behind it. I think it actually matched with some of the details of the actual ship too.
I also changed the pins on the hinge from an exposed longer one to a black two stud one, then added the sloped brick to also close up that area where the top hinges down.
