While most/all the poses were heavily inspired by existing ones there has been some effort made to give them some distinction. Ideally you would want to attach a specialized unit to these guys, preferably one with fire support as they are very lacking in that area (no MGs, mortars or even grenadiers, just a few noob tubes). I can see them functioning well with the Timmee Vietnam boys or the Matchbox US GIs, both of which have the extra firepower to back them up.
