>>7501245Sphinx is cool but I liked older one more. It's not just nosalgia, I liked it for unique pieces. Base plate had a lot of use. I made Africakorps/desert war zone style trenches diorama once.. Meanwhile this one has pretty much nothing special, it's just lot of sandy pieces and some generic slopes.
Also Adventurers had 1 small seaplane in military camouflage colors. It could be easily re-configurated to look like a war plane. It waa like a single-seater version of pic-related, but with floaters instead. Small set, rather cheap, you could get few to make a fleet.
