>>9272290If you chose to use *that* to represent an explosion, you needed to stick with overtly cartoonish/cell-shaded style througout the scene. It would've worked even if you painted it badly (which you probably would given your level) but *uniformly* badly, like pic related. That was your only good way out of that one.
Not trying to be mean, it was your first time and all that, but obvisouly bad decision is bad no matter when you make it.
