>>8717961I’d ask Christian Faber, Paul Dini, and Bruce Timm if they’d liked to help me/offer them a job on this project. Christian Faber would be the idea man and a designer, if Timm and Dini got into the story of Bionicle previously (the Bionicle comics were published by DC, so it’s not too far-fetched) they could be the writers, and sometimes make designs and such too, basically stuff they’re already good at. If possible, I’d also like to have Genndy Tartakovsky on board with the project too. I have a feeling, if he gave Bionicle a chance, he’d probably be into it. If at the very least, I can only get two of them, I'd choose either Faber and Dini/Timm (either or is fine) or Faber and Genndy. The style of animation would depend on who would be on board. If it was Dini/Timm, the animation style would be like a mixture between Batman: The Animated Series/Justice Leage/JL: Unlimited and the animations from the Mata Nui Online game. If it was Genndy, then it would be like a mixture between Samurai Jack/Primal/Genndy’s Clone Wars (and some of his other more serious shows) and the Mata Nui Online Game animations and those 2002-03 Bionicle flash animations.
I wouldn’t play too big of a part, because I wouldn’t have much expertise in the field, and I wouldn’t want the brand/series to fail due to too much of my input. However, if I do have an idea or something I’d like to see be in an episode or so or an arc, or a concept for a character, a place, or a concept, I’d run it by the guys and ask them what they thought, and ask them how they could improve it to fit in better, or see what they had to say about it and such.
