Motu was able to survive because origins could substitute as kid product when it was 15$ (as well as the CGI show). Marvel has lots of kid product. Power rangers had more kid product than collector product for the current show. To sustain an adult collector line you either need to be neca or you just can't. Even McFarlane depends on the 3.75 line another company makes. Even DND knew they couldn't support a full line and quickly tooled kid product.
So basically you can't sell 25-30$ figures unless you also have 10$ stuff
