>>10667044Indiana Jones Adventure Series was always going to have limited shelf life unless they were gonna start digging into Kingdom of the Crystal Skull and the video games and comics. Which would have been awesome, but unlikely.
I don't understand how you fuck up Power Rangers though. I think Hasbro is going to have a lot of regret about buying it going forward because clearly, they saw the opportunity to pick up a huge toy IP, and didn't realize that half the reason it was so profitable was because most of the work for the toys and shows were being done in Japan and all they had to do was license and localize it. They fell for the full ownership trap and they still have to pay licensing fees if they want to take advantage of the stuff people actually have nostalgia for. Like, look at this fucking awesome shit from Japan, kids would go bananas for this as a Power Rangers show and toy line. At this rate Hasbro is going to end up selling the IP back to Saban for less than they paid for it, just like Disney.
As for the other two, Fortnite was a fad, and DND's fortunes were hinged on a movie that flopped. They gave it the old college try but even a decent movie couldn't weather the storm of WotC's constant PR disasters.
