>>7690818Dude, a wash is very little effort and can be applied all at once with a broad brush or even a dip, it doesn't need a ton of brush strokes. It's really fucking lazy actually, and instantly makes textured sculpts look great. This is how I basically did all my miniature painting when I was a kid--just apply flat colors, then a wash. It pools and sits in all those recessed lines and crevices, while flowing off the raised parts. Boom, two minutes and it instantly pops those details.
