>>7957026I actually prefer double jointed knees, especially how they're done on Joes and other 1:18 scale figures and single hinge elbows. A single hinge can be more then enough of a joint as long as the sculpt gives it clearance. But double jointed elbows usually look awful, pic related

I don't know what Joe can't get into a kneeling firing pose though, as long as the crotch is molded to allow a full range of motion in the hips, a double knee joint is fantastic for kneeling poses.
>>7957184I thought there was an attempt a similar type of Kickstarter, but it ultimately failed. I honestly was just trying to figure out the best way to gather a bunch of 1:18 civies as I just bought the behemoth Starspeeder 1000 and I wanted to fill it with non-military personal for my Skiff pirates to attack.
The problem with civilian figures though is that they'd be set pieces and background fodder more then actual figures. If they weren't cheap, they wouldn't be worth buying. MTF hit a nice middleground as their Agents and Ops figures can work as civies, but can also gear up with their accessories to be full on troops and soldiers and the like. Some of the PGV girls can pull a similar double duty. Honestly, that's the best way to get a "Non combat" figure out at this scale, just give them optional combat gear.
>>7957206The second run of MTF figures were generally straight up Jump Suit figures like you were looking for, no armor on the gloves or the boots. They even offered rolled up sleeves so you can have a mechanic figure ready to get elbow deep into some engine or something. Once their WWII shipping flurry is over, I'll probably be placing an order with em to get a few regular jump suit, and Agent/Ops figures to fill out my new space train.
