Those ball hinges are a huge difference with any toyline.
It's like comparing a 90s XMen toys with a GI Joe.
The 90s XMen toys moved like robots, whereas GI Joes actually had human-like motion. Something with better articulation will look more natural and able to hold better poses.
It's sorta like why the trolls are so lame, except despite their joints, their range is completely shit and you end up with an 80s quality poseable toy.
