You COULD make the argument that it just didn’t get a good coating of paint and was simply rushed out the door with only the markings put on it with any real effort. It’s not to far from reality considering pics of foreign equipment being pressed into service. You could even do a little chipping with the “original”color showing through.mostly just bringing this up because I want to do a german captured t-34 with the same basic ideas I listed
