While I liked G2 Bionicle it doesn't hold a candle to the original, and it's not a wonder why it completely failed as a reboot when most of the wattered down story was told through terrible shorts, and what was there lacked the depth and charm of the original. I liked G2 Bionicle, but I was pretty much throwing out the story at the time and MOCing everything to be more like the original series with OC Matoran characterd, Ninjago though now that I've gotten over my innitial aversion to the western weeb aesthetic I appreciate a lot more for what it is. Plus, would've saved myself the heartache when the theme was abruptly canceled withput even giving us Mask of Ultimate Power Makuta, lol
