Nothing to do with Kaiyodo which has a 60+ history, starting out as a tiny model kit shop. Xebec like many other companies over the years like Kenelephant, Union Creative, served as a distributor for Kaiyodo products. Kaiyodo sculpts them but these companies handles all the "selling" part. Now Kaiyodo does it all themselves.

AB did make a background cameo in Reycal though, since Yamaguchi made Revo of that and figure from that author's previous manga.
