>>11599105Yes, in fact you'll notice the castings made up to1996 have the front bumper separate from the rest of the body because it was part of the then-metal base. They also used different names for this casting like Wind Splitter, Street Dog and Street Beast. After 1996, this casting didn't have another release until the re-tool with this plastic base in 2012. That's a 16 year hiatus! And even then, it's only been released in 2016 until now, another 9 year hiatus. At least it gives me hope that we might see some long-dormant castings return. I personally want to see castings of really early cars like Old #3, Old Number 5/5.5, Hot Heap, Torpedo Jones, and T-Bucket made again. I remember seeing those cars as a kid, thinking they were strange looking at the time, but they are exactly the type of cars I enjoy now.
