Got my Iron Priest. I am happy to say that it looks amazing to me in-hand! Lots of fine detail painting, very intricate sculpt. It might be my most impressive JoyToy figure yet, it has a ton of shelf presence.
Like most folks, my biggest worry was the rough "iron" texture. In-hand, I think it actually looks fine everywhere except the shins. It gets weird and kind of blobby looking there. Everywhere else, I think it looks acceptably like old, pitted cast iron, and there's a light wash to sink into the crevices and make it look even better. If you are very nitpicky, it might bug you, but irl I am almost completely happy. The good parts of the figure (and there are a lot) totally blow away the bad parts for me.
