A year or two later, my dumb ass tried to chrome the Mask of Life with a gold paint sponge because I didn’t like the dull pearl gold and wanted it to look more like the discontinued flat dark gold on sets like Takanuva.
Unsurprisingly, I did a shitty job and ruined a mask that is now $400 after an aftermarket boom.
Is there any way to effectively remove the paint without ruining the mask? It chips off a little at a time. I lost it but it’s somewhere in the house with my old toys
