>>10314623It feels like they wrote both seasons at the same time and weren't getting the feedback about how people are responding to the filler episodes or Omega centric ones. And I hate when you bring those things up and people give you crap about how "hurrr it's a chance for character building", when you can still do that while advancing the actual story along. Crosshair's episode is a perfect example of that. I'd much rather have a shorter season with actual progression than see them go on another errand for Cid or Wanda Sykes completely unnecessary character for half the episodes.
Not to say I wouldn't like a show about mercenaries taking on adventure of the week type jobs (that's what I was hoping The Mandalorian was going to be), but that really should be a completely separate show with a set of characters that aren't tied to this giant overarching plot that's directly continuing from another series.
