>>7443274>Is it easy?That really depends on the model/maker and age. If it's built DCC-ready, then it will be as simple as opening the loco and plugging in a decoder. Obviously if it's a model from the 1990's, DCC installation will be a little harder.
Hard-wiring older stuff isn't hard, per-se, once you know what you're doing it's pretty easy. Some things are going to require more work than others, of course.
