I was one of those people that is pretty much just into Mega for the minifigs, and disregards the brick sets, thinking it's just lower-quality Lego. I bought this solely because the RPG smoke trail/clear rod effect looked awesome and I didn't own any modern Grunts yet. What I wasn't expecting was how awesome the Goblin turned out to be (I built it on a whim last night). The build was fun and creative, the plastic feels surprisingly high quality, and the finished figure looks and feels amazing.
I feel like a veil over my eyes has lifted.
