>>9203966>What happened?>>9203997>Long story short is that the Power Broker in the MCU broke him out of prison, but it’s revealed the Power Broker is Sharon Carter, who was a good guy until she got blackballed from Shield, post Civil War. At one point, Batroc threatens to reveal her secret to Captain Falcon, so she kills him.Even worse, he shows up, says he's going to reveal her secret, and then she shoots him and no one reacts. He's there for like ten seconds despite being objectively a better actor for action sequences than all the bad guy characters they kept using.
>>9203997>Frankly it’s a little underwhelming that Sharon Carter was revealed as a bad guy during the show but the Power Broker isn’t exactly a cool villain anyway>>9204021>Yeah that sounds pretty lame. The worst part is you could tell right away it was going to be her, but the characters insist on pretending it's not obvious and calling Power Broker "HIM, HE, it's TOTALLY A MAN GUISE" as if that would make the "twist" less obvious.
Actually, the absolute worst part was some rando conspiracy theory suggested that because no images of Power Broker existed, and all dealings with Power Broker were online only, never physical, it was possible that the Power Broker was actually someone who lost their body and escaped into the internet to live on and be a dick.
Like 99% of the Disney+ shows, the conspiracy fan-theories end up being more interesting and fun than the actual show endings which have tended to just... end... without trying to resolve much of anything.
