The problem is they lack smaller joints that are strong enough for places like the thin legs, so they didn't articulate every spot of the Revo Geo. That didn't go well with people. So to have fully articulated creatures they needed better joints, retool the sculpts accordingly, and then Yamaguch slipped in some extra ideas for AY joints I guess. AY went from using Revolver Joints and joints from Revol Mini to using entirely new joints. Tolmekian and some Evas too. They basically eliminated Revolver Joints for good.
