>>8625415If China actually reported on what was going down back in November lockdowns might have worked before it leaked out of their borders but it was already too late by February. You can't blame Americans for this shit being endemic now. Regardless of blame, that's the thing. It's endemic. You'd need to have a worldwide lockdown of at least two or three incubation periods to totally snuff the virus out which is at the very least two weeks, so four to six weeks. That's absolutely fucking humanly impossible. To isolate those infected 100% for that long from every other potential victim is not achievable. Masks don't stop the spread. They'd literally need to be on 100% arrest with no going outside for even groceries or anything. That's not doable with the need for essential workers and shit to keep infastucture running and the supply chain functioning. Most people would starve and die. There's a reason the flu is still around despite being harder to transmit than Covid and easier to vaccinate for. We never have lockdowns for other diseases because news flash retard, they don't fucking work unless you literally box people up like rodents and force them to fend for themselves in isolation for weeks on end and that's just insane to think that can be pulled off. Welcome to reality, it sucks but Covid is not going away unless we get lucky and it mutates to a symptomless strain to not burn Itself out. We can't have lockdowns every winter. Stop fucking thinking masks and not going to resturaunts will magically fix shit when everyone is packed together shoulder to shoulder in every supermarket and mall worldwide buying food and holiday gifts all year round. You cannot end this. You can barely even slow the spread. Infection rates are comprable regardless of lockdown status if you compare states and/or other countries. Stop being a fucking idiot, please.
