>>5984240The Figuarts' overall articulation is better, and this is particularly noticeable in the ankles, elbows, and at the neck. Subjectively, I greatly prefer the slimmer proportions and longer legs of the Figuarts, as well as the colors used.
The one thing I absolutely hate about the Figuarts though, is how they handled his shoulder armor. Like usual, the shoulder armor is attached to his upper arms and it's on a hinge joint so you can flap it up and down, but this hinge doesn't really serve a purpose.
The place where the shoulder armor attaches to the upper arm is fixed in place, so you can't change the shoulder armor's position on the arm (I even popped an arm off to see if there was something I was missing). This severely interferes with the range of motion when trying to move the arm away from the body, because the shoulder armor effectively blocks you from doing that. I just don't understand why they did it like this, when they've handled it so much better on other figures such as the Clone Troopers and First Order Stormtroopers.
