>>7340742Oh yeah, I know what you mean, I've definitely been paying attention with great interest. There's enough differences to set them apart. It's just that at this stage I haven't seen anything that would convince me to get these figures over the Robot Spirits version which had great paint application, good tight joints and great sculpt and articulation. The extra accessories do look good and maybe if they extend the line to include figures RD didn't do like Eva 04 and 06.
I think the main thing to wait for will be to see just how fine the paint application ends up being on the final product. If they can get even more detail then Robot Spirits (which they definitely have in their promo shots, but production version doesn't always match promo) then that could really move it to a higher level.
Now if Mafex had done the TV versions instead they would have been insta-buys for me.
