on /sp/ there was an eternal /wwe/ general thread where people shitposted constantly and it filled up and would be remade, but whatever it was just one thread. all the wrasslin man-drama was in there.
Then /asp/ was created, and wrasslin' was deemed unfit for /sp/, relegated to /asp/. Now, 90% of that board is shitposting about WWE, instead of martial arts/rock climbing/skateboarding/kayaking/whatever the fuck else. And they're all shitpost threads too, because they get like 6 replies and then the chucklefuck OP goes off to make a new one. Pic related, the current catalog.
And I LIKE wrestling, but holy christ it does not need an entire board to be unleashed upon.
And I fear this is what will happen if /pol/ gets deleted, all of that fuckery will come dripping into every other board, especially the already popular ones like /a/v/co/. Containment boards/threads exist for a reason.
