>>8994436That's the thing that makes me saddest about all this. Overwatch WAS great. It HAD potential. It COULD HAVE been something awesome. They pissed all of that potential away for some meandering bullshit that contradicts itself all the time and barely explains what purpose half the roster even has. If they had actually allowed themselves to get past the origin stories and actually flesh out the world they built, I'm sure it could have been the sort of thing that people would get into for decades, like their other games. Maybe Overwatch 2 will do that, but I kind of doubt it at this point.
Ah well, at least we got some nice toys out of it.
