>>7945038No prob, we're still friends. You're a cool anon. Different stokes for different folks.
I guess I just like when an alt mode has an identity of its own, beyond just being robot parts with wheels or wings, and that's kind of what most of Siege has been.
>>7945039It's weird that I've seen a lot of people criticize T30 Springer for having "literally nothing" alt modes. Even 7 years later, I think they did a stellar job making a robot that turns into both a car and helicopter. Sure, they couldn't pass for modern day equivalents, but they feel like futuristic/sci-fi/tacticool vehicles, like things you might drive in a first person shooter or something.
>>7945044Same. I think, aesthetically, it's one of my favorite Transformer designs of all time. Both modes just ooze personality and are extremely unique (how often do we see dune buggies with monster rear wheels, or VTOL aircraft?) and the use of kibble in alt mode is just fantastic; the giant turbines coming off of his back are probably some of my favorite elements on any giant robot, period. It's a shame we'll never see this design revisited, because it's not based on anything; it's an IDW Springer where both modes have been mutated into completely different things. I really miss this kind of freedom in the generations figures.
