>>10504006my idea for the monsterverse line, while trying to be as realistic and optimistic as I can be, is that it will resemble the pokemon line upto now. There are other notable examples outside of pokemon like the witcher and GOT dragons sets aswell as the recent battle cat sets that reflect the builds I want to see in the larger characters, but the set sizes and price range of pokemon is the most ideal point of comparison for this.Ofcourse there will be larger sets. It would be suicide not to key in on large scale kaiju in a kaiju focused license. But there is alot of room for smaller sized offering too. Skull Island is rife with monsters of every shape and size imaginable. As long as these monsters are as big or bigger than the average COD figure than they can be sold in sets.
Speaking of which the license comes with ample leg room for mold reuse. Everyone has urged MEGA to come up with a generic military line specifically to make use of their COD molds. If this Monsterverse line happens it will be the perfect opportunity to reuse those components.
Outside of the brick built sets I think MEGA could even potentially revive the breakout beast style of figure under the monsterverse banner. Modular figures of Kong, Goji, and whatever else the license comes with would be huge hits with collectors and kids alike. If MEGA plays their cards right this could be their answer to Lego's Jurassic World license. Kong has as much kid appeal these days as Jurassic Park and Pokemon combined.
