Making a 1/12 scale diorama - two story room where the top floor has a trap door leading down into a torture basement. But I'm really stuck on what to do for the flooring and walls on the basement.
I got the embossed dolomite stone walls from
miniatures.com and I like how those look, but I'm completely stuck on the floor. Part of my things using quickrete to make a concrete floor would be good, but I think that's a bit... plain? I could put in some drains, but I'm not confident with my ability to add in gutters as well, so it would look pretty unfinished. Tiles might be good, but then I think those would clash with the stone walls, so I'd need to change those. Stone floors with the stone walls just doesn't feel right.
For reference, the top floor is pretty much this, but with a trap door.
