I've been gone for 8+yrs but my friend is still there and it's the same shit. HOWEVER there have been some A-Holes employees who either call their friends when they see a high end case or new stuff come in. A Target employee got nailed for hiding Hot Wheels cases and Super Treasure Hunts for the scalpers. The scalpers paid them for "First dibs". Scalpers outnumber collectors 15 to 1. When WM was 24hrs they used to swarm the Toy dept at 8pm and they'd wait until the new freight was brought out from the back. They'd have 2-3 people per store. At Target, 8:55am you'd see between 10-20 people. Doors open......they'd RUN to toys. It was PATHETIC.
