I've decided to pick a very limited quasi-classic color scheme but now I gotta decide exactly which pieces are worth getting. Standard bricks and plates are obviously a must and other important stuff like hinges and clips I'll probably mostly stick to get them in black/grey because even if they are not the ideal colors, neutrals don't tend to mess up the overall aesthetics.
My question for MOC makers, are there any semi-specialized pieces that are easy to overlook you often find yourself wishing you had more of or really glad you have an abundance of them for being surprisingly useful?
