Someone on /m/ said the moths thing is apparently exclusive to 4Chan and nobody on 2Chan ever mentions them when talking about the fates of the Gills, Another Agito, and a bunch of Hibiki secondary Rider suits, but it's a very old meme so this will probably never be massively corrected.
They might have just been left outside cause Toei were shits and didn't care until around Decade honestly.
