I remember so vividly a several moments in my childhood with bionicles. Getting my first one ever, when I was about 4: the blue Rahkshi with shadow Kraata (I still have him complete, but I need to buy a new worm). Seeing the Barraki ad on TV for the first time, watching it over and over on youtube. Waiting each month in anticipation of the new Bionicle comic. Seeing Makuta BTFO Mata Nui into space, and losing my mind about it. Opening Axonn on Xmas and being amazed at his posable fingers. Seeing the Piraka for the first time and getting the red one after a long tough decision. Going to Walmart and being shocked/hyped about the new Glatorian sets (with detailed fists!), buying Skrall. Spending hours and hours of my childhood in the Bionicle section at Toys R Us. My grandma throwing a Bionicle Bday party for me and my cousin (she even made a poster with us next to Karzahni). I was so excited for the new line each year. When I saw Stars in 2010, I was disappointed but thought "Oh well, later this year they'll release more. And next year too." I waited and waited... my precious Bonks never returned. God damn it, those were good times.
