>>9257093It's something frustrating to grapple with, but it's been over ten year of collector's autism. I hate Siege battle damage, but it really helped take my mind off of blemishes, when it's just one more battle scar to the pre-existing twenty.
>definitely gonna have to deal with whatever shape my Nemesis comes in withYeah, it sucks if something rarer/expensive is disappointing, as well as in general. My Siege Magnus (one of my top 5 fave bots) has like, a bullet wound on his fucking face, and I didn't have the cash to buy another and exchange him at the time. Mom mentioned that a warrior will obviously have battle scars, so I warmed up to that idea for the Autobots' strongest soldier.
>it really would be nice not to have to bother with it all of that and keep him as is.Siege Prime has some scar and dent on his chest grill, Vert's eye, Smokescreen's crest, TR Kup, Perceptor, and SS86 Hot Rod's chins have paint chipping... half was laziness/base reluctance, but I also felt bad about sending away "my" Optimus/etc and getting another - so I tried my best to figure out how to love them as-is. Maybe this reads as sunk-cost fallacy, mixed with what's definitely autism. But I hope you can warm up to *your* Dinobot, I'll post any ideas I come up with, and I hope you get good rest!
>black crest>leaking onto his nose>different depth/heightMaybe it's his helmet's nose-guard, but this one had a blemish. Maybe he was upset like you were. But when that extra few millimeters helped save him in a fierce battle, he proudly kept the helmet with its added protection? So the black bit's part of his helmet and not his nose.
Anons here helped with my perfectionist autism, approving of Hot Rod's chin-nick being some fishing or sharkticon-related accident (maybe he was saving our good boy Wheelie), so I'm happy to help with that anytime.
>>9257085>Sky-Lynx that was missing a chunk of paintWhat area? I noticed one of the NASA writings was nicked, but no other paint issues..?
