Yeah, I know it was almost 20 years ago, but the originals were like $20 and had separate cracked/intact headsculpts. This just feels like Bandai wants to leave room on the table to someday sell an "ultimate" version with sculpted cracks and other small QOL fixes. You know, like SHFSS 2.0 or something.
