They said certain companies only buy large amounts of figures like twice a year(Walmart), and then never stock the waves in-between, so you never see a second or third wave. They even said they're not purposely making the figures and then not giving them to you, because that'd be a shitty business model. They said these companies(walmart) needed fewer waves. So to circumvent that, they're cutting waves to two waves a year, but with more figures in each wave and store exclusives to supplement it. They also said they're creating a second Black Series line to circumvent the cutting of waves down to two a year, and that this second line would be called Black Series Archives and act as a Best Of line, and re-release all the hard to find and in demand figures solely as their own waves in their own line to get around Walmart's bullshit. So, you'll still see a lot of Black Series, but a second line of it in different boxes with better figures on the pegs.
